Time and time again we get bikes into the shop for service that just won’t run correctly, often we find that the original Lucas alternator rotor has broken loose from its center. Current production Wassell and Lucas rotors have welded centers which are not prone to this issue. If your vintage BritBike is still fitted with an original rotor and charges well but runs rough after timing this heavy duty serrated / cupped washer may be just the ticket! The icing on the cake is that if your bike is fitted with an alternator rotor access cover, you don’t even need to remove the primary cover to fit this!
