Description Head Stud kit for 4.6 & 5.4 ALL 2 valve and 4 valve motors ARP Pro Series cylinder head studs are cold-forged to ensure molecular integrity. They’re heat-treated prior to thread rolling and machining. All kits come complete with hardened parallel washers for an even load distribution and accurate torque readings. Choose in the drop down menu between either 8740 chromoly steel head studs or ARP2000. When choosing which head stud to go with, the 8740 chromoly head studs have a 190,000 psi tensile strength which should be enough for most builds. For extreme applications and high boost numbers, the ARP2000 head studs have a 220,000 psi tensile strength which will take even more abuse. Both ARP® head stud kits include conventional hex nuts (12 point nuts available, contact Chris to specify)
