This replacement Aerco piston and Grant piston ring set is supplied with standard sized 76mm pistons and piston rings for the Aerco PS215 long-rod 650 to 750 big-bore cylinder barrels with standard bore. Not compatible with Triumph TR7 and T140 cylinders and connecting rods. Genuine Aerco pistons and Grant piston rings are among the finest quality available. This piston set is in standard bore and is not compatible with cylinders bored to oversize. This set comes complete with wrist pins and circlips. The replacement pistons and piston rings must be correctly fitted to the cylinder bores, with piston ring end gaps and piston skirt clearances accurately measured to assure top engine performance. A suitable cross-hatch honing pattern must be established on the cylinder walls to ensure that the cast-iron piston rings seal correctly. The procedure for fitting pistons is the same for any stock Triumph engine. Refer to the factory workshop manual for detailed instructions and specifications.
