Triumph Unit 500 650 Bonneville Tiger Webco-Type Starburst Rocker Caps Set PN# 70-4610 R 71-2744 Patterned after the original Webco “starburst” rocker inspection caps from the 1960s, this complete set of (4) cast caps are the perfect addition to a period-correct custom Triumph unit-construction twin engine. The star pattern allows for heat dissipation, while adding a unique look to the rocker boxes, once fitted. The socket head provision for loosening and tightening with an Allen wrench or socket allows for more leverage and enhanced thread engagement for positive fitment. The rocker inspection caps are removed to perform valve clearance adjustments. This set of rocker inspection caps are not knurled around the edges as the original flat caps, so the retaining spring clips can be omitted when using this custom replacement set. They are simply threaded into the rocker box inspection ports and cinched down tight with an allen wrench or socket.
