The switch panel houses the 88SA ignition and lighting switches and serves as a battery cover on the left side of the motorcycle. The quality heavy gauge sheet metal cover is manufactured in the UK. Features two recessed and drilled platforms for switch location. The tabs on the top and bottom are placed at the correct mounting positions. Supplied painted but may require further detail work to achieve the desired finish. The panel is undrilled for fitment of the motif. The side panel is designed to be securely fitted to the frame and is not quickly detachable when installed. An optional side panel motif can be fitted by drilling the appropriately sized holes then securing with spire nuts on the backside of the panel. The side panel tabs on top are tied into the battery carrier and oil tank mounting system. The lower tab is secured to the frame with a linked bracket. As with many pressings, such as mudguards, chain guards, etc. there may be some fettling required to achieve the desired alignment and correct fitment.
