The switch panel houses the S45 Yale-type ignition switch and serves as a battery cover on the left side of the motorcycle. The quality heavy gauge sheet metal cover is manufactured in the UK. Features a single hole for the S45 ignition switch mounting. The tabs on the top and the stay on the bottom are placed at the correct mounting positions. Supplied painted, but may require further detail work to achieve the desired finish. The side panel is designed to be securely fitted to the frame and is not quickly detachable when installed. An identifying transfer can be applied to the center of the side panel. The side panel tabs on top are tied into the battery carrier and oil tank mounting system. A grommet is fitted to the lower stay hole where the mounting hardware secures the panel to the frame. As with many pressings, such as mudguards, chain guards, etc. there may be some fettling required to achieve the desired alignment and correct fitment.
