Please note, in some instances, a slight modification to the jaws of the puller may be required to achieve adequate fitment over the back of the crankshaft pinion. This modification involves lightly grinding the jaws to increase the angles, allowing deeper penetration of the jaws to clear the recessed pocket in the crankcase. In addition, a small amount of material may also be needed to be ground off the ends of each jaw to make them thinner and able to reach behind the pinion.
